These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Intervou website at https://www.intervou.com and any services offered by Intervou ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Intervou. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. The Service
Intervou produces guided, search-optimised video interviews and publishes them on dedicated Intervou profile pages ("the Service"). The Service consists of an initial fee to produce and publish your profile, plus a recurring annual renewal fee that keeps your profile hosted, live, indexed, and available for updates. Current pricing is displayed at checkout and on the Start Your Intervou page.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of any video recordings, written responses, and other materials you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Intervou a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, format, and display Your Content as part of the Service. You can request removal at any time.
You are responsible for ensuring Your Content does not infringe the rights of others, is accurate, and complies with applicable laws.
4. Editorial Standards
Intervou reserves the right to decline, delay, or remove any submission that does not meet our editorial standards - including content that is defamatory, misleading, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Payment and Renewal
The Service is offered for the prices displayed on the Start Your Intervou page: an initial fee to produce and publish your profile, and a recurring annual renewal fee to keep it hosted, indexed, and available for updates. Payment is processed via third-party payment providers and is subject to their terms. If the annual renewal is not paid, your profile may be unpublished or taken offline. You can stop future renewals at any time by contacting us. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis - see the FAQ for details.
6. Intellectual Property
All Intervou branding, design, and platform code are the property of Intervou or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of the Site without our written permission.
7. Disclaimer
The Site and Service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any content. Intervou does not guarantee specific search ranking results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intervou is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
